Councillor David Livingstone (Chairman)
David moved to Silchester in 1996 with his wife and 2 children, who both started their schooling at Silchester School (they have now both finished University). He has worked at AWE for over 10 years as a Senior Project Manager, and has recently retired. In his time at Silchester, he has seen his children grow up using the facilities and clubs that are offered in the Parish and the surrounding area, and he and his wife have enjoyed the amenities that the area provides, along with many of the events put on by the Silchester Association. Now that he has retired, he is keen to put something back into the community as a Parish Councillor, assisting in the cohesion and wellbeing of the village and its surrounding countryside
Councillor Janet Earl (Co-Vice Chair)
Janet and her family have lived in Silchester for the last 18 years. She is a member of the Speed Watch Team and given a background in Road Safety is keen to see the issue of speeding through our lovely village addressed. Janet has been a Councillor for the last few years and aims to help Silchester be the best it possibly can.
Councillor Paul Miles (Co-Vice Chair)
Paul is married with 5 daughters and a son, a local business owner and speedwatch volunteer. In his spare time he enjoys clay pigeon shooting, playing with all his children and walking his dog around the many footpaths and woodlands in and around the village.
Councillor Richard Westwood
Richard is the Parish Councillor who liaises with working parties on the common. He is the lead councillor for the management of Silchester Common.
Councillor Graham Wright
Graham returned to Silchester with his wife in 2019 after spending 12 years in Tadley. Graham retired from full time work in 2014, but has been engaged in consultancy work in the chemical and polymer industries since then. Silchester is a vibrant village community and Graham is looking forward to taking an active part in helping Silchester to retain it’s unique character and being a great place to live.
